Mental health is everyone's business.

Being healthy is not just being physically fit - a healthy mind also is an important part of our overall wellbeing.

Good mental health allows us to enjoy life, realise our abilities, and cope with the normal stresses of life. In turn, poor mental health can affect our daily life, relationships, and even our physical health.

But what is mental health?

Mental health refers to our cognitive, behavioural, emotional, and social well-being. It is all about how we think, feel, and act. Our mental state determines how we handle stress, relate to others, and make choices. In short: it determines how we live our lives.

Because mental health problems can have such negative effects on your thinking, mood, and behaviour, taking care of your mental health is important at every stage of life. Knowing how to nourish your mind as you do your body helps to avoid  of poor mental health to have negative effects on your physical health, wellbeing, and quality of life.

Since there are many factors affecting your mental health, such as life experiences or biological functions, everyone has the potential to develop mental health problems, no matter how old we are, whether we are male or female, rich or poor, or which ethnic group we belong to.

That is why it is so important to learn how to take care of your mind, just as you take care of your body.

“It's up to you today to start making healthy choices. Not choices that are just healthy for your body, but healthy for your mind.”

Hi, my name is Jack.

I work with LLFitness to help people improve their mental wellbeing and performance. How? By taking care of  their mind. We are working to raise awareness of the benefits of good mental health in Cambodia and highlight all the different ways you can approach holistic wellbeing.

After graduating with a degree in psychology from the UK I have worked with autistic children and a mental health charity. Here in Cambodia, I focus on integrated approaches to improve mental wellbeing through coaching and stress management programmes, facilitating better performance and overall health.

Whatever your background is, and whether you have individual concerns or want to bring out the best in your team, I am sure together we can find a solution.

Individual and Group Coaching Sessions

Self-awareness as well as the capability to think and feel emotions are inherently human. However, sometimes our thoughts and emotions can be confusing and difficult to understand on our own.

Coaching can play an important role in dealing with emotions, thoughts, and difficult decisions by finding ways to cope through talking to a professional. It can be helpful when dealing with mental health conditions such as depression or anxiety, or provide support to cope with upsetting physical conditions, life events, work related stress, or difficult emotions.
